Diwali celebrations have come to an end and let’s admit it, the festive hangover is always tough to get over. But we have something to cheer you up. A look into our favourite celebrities’ Diwali celebrations is always a treat. Here’s how your favourite stars celebrated Diwali 2017, just how it is meant to be celebrated, with lots and lots of good food!

For Salman Khan, Diwali 2017 was a family affair. Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail’s little sister, Arpita Khan, shared a beautiful picture of the entire Khan-Daan, who had gathered together for lunch. A room full of stars!

Television actor Raquesh Bapat celebrated Diwali with a his wife actor Riddhi Dogra, and a host of his friends from the Televison industry. We can see Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Akash Dogra and a bowlful of chocolate truffle in Riddhi’s hand. Can a picture get more tempting? We doubt.

For Actress Alia bhatt, the celebration was doubly special as Diwali 2017 marked the 5-year anniversary of her debut movie ‘Student of the Year’. The cast of Student of the Year, Siddhart Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and director Karan Johar celebrated the special occasion with a delectable chocolate cake.

Bollywood Diva and international icon Priyanka Chopra also took to Instagram to extend her Diwlai wishes to her fans and asked them to indulge in lots of Mithai.

“Happy Diwali everyone. One of my most favourite festivals. Reminds me so much of home, family, friends and of course major amounts of food and mithai! May you be blessed with joy, prosperity, love and laughter!” She captioned her image.

Yuvraj Singh with his wife Hazel Keech and mother Shabnam Singh conducted the ritualistic Laxmi Puja on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. They offered a host of sweets and flowers to the deity.

Actress Sonali Bendre also took to social media to wish her fans a very Happy Diwali.

She wrote, “Happy Diwali everyone! May your lives be filled with love and light… Diwali is all about fun, food, family, and friendship… And last night I had the best food ever with #shabanaazmi, @sridevi.kapooor, @ashesinwind, @therichachadha and @manishmalhotra05”

We can’t help but wonder what all does this star-studded menu have?

Arjun Rampal celebrated Diwali in the lap of nature. With actors Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Singh, Debolina dey and Siddhant Kapoor, the actor sent his wishes from Ladakh. The boxes of sweets on display have got us craving all over again.
