All England Championships Match schedule, time: Saina Nehwal takes on Tai Tzu Ying; PV Sindhu faces Chochuwong

Saina Nehwal will face world no. 1 and defending champion Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei in the opener of  All England Badminton 2018. PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth will are expected to have easy first round outings against relatively unheralded opponents. 

Tai Tzu has proved to be Saina’s nemesis with an overall 9-5 record against her. The Indian has lost the last seven outings, the most recent being at the Indonesia Masters final early in the year.

Sindhu would open her campaign against a Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong.

For 2018, we open play on Wednesday 14 March and go straight into the main draw (there is no qualification round).
